This Author's Life

Switching gears for a little while and working on the YA supernatural book I started back in November. My brain needs a break from Jilly, William, Caroline, and Patrick. I had a nice little start to the book already, so it was easy to jump back in and start writing. There's going to be vampires, shape shifter's, and a few other supernatural beings in this one. It's a true YA book, the characters are all 16 or a little older. I'm really enjoying the voice that Cali, the main character has. It's always hard trying to write something fresh in the YA genre, it feels like everything has already been told. This story, I'm hoping is different enough to be interesting.
