Do you ever....

Do you ever just have one of those weeks? Where nothing in life goes the way it's supposed to, and everything gets off track? I feel like that's how the past month has been for me. I'm getting back on track though, slowly but surely. On the bright side, I'm almost finished with Haunted U!!! Wooohooo, and then it's off to my amazing publishers. I'm so ready to be done so you all can read it!! Sorry for the short little post, but hey, at least its something right?

Ummmmmm

So yeah, apparently this book is so not going to write itself. Who knew? I swear being under a deadline is making the whole writing process so much harder than it needs to be. Every day I sit down to write, I stare at the blinking cursor and will myself to put some words on the screen. The good news? I only have like 20k left to write. The bad news? I need to be done by March 1st.......


Stay tuned....... I see a lot of late nights in my future.

Valentine's Blog hop

My Best Valentine's date ever was about a year before my now husband and I got engaged. He had thought of everything, he made me a mix cd of some of our favorite songs (to this day when I hear Such Great Heights by The Postal Service, I think of that night.) and made reservations at my favorite place. It was perfect. He was perfect. He even took me shopping for jewelry and bought me a pretty ring for my left hand (not an engagement ring, that came a year later.)

After a long walk on the beach together, looking at the stars and talking about life and the future, I knew it would be forever. That was almost 10 years ago and we're still going strong. That Valentine's date cemented the fact that we were meant to be together. I'm more in love than ever before, and I'm proud to call him my husband.
