Private Internship Review

Sometimes sugar isn’t so sweet and secrets can be deadly...especially with matters of the heart.
Sienna’s bestie, Harper warned her not to intern for famous bad boy artist, Casper Mason. After all, he just fired Harper who helped Sienna get the interview. But the moment Sienna sees Casper—or Caz—sweaty, practically shirtless and swinging from chains as he works on his sculpture, she’s hooked. He’s the richest, hottest artist in New York, and he lives in the fabulous Williamsburg Sugar Factory. But he’s also an incorrigible game-player, who seems to relish testing Sienna’s loyalty with a string of unsettling tests.
She knows she should get away fast. But by the time Sienna sneaks into his locked storage room and begins to unearth his dark and terrifying secret, she’s fallen way too hard for the handsome, charismatic Caz.

My review:

I didn't know what to expect from this book because I had never read anything by Kitsy Clare before. This was a really quick read for me, took about a night and a half to finish it. And, I honestly really enjoyed it.

I liked Sienna instantly, she went after what she wanted even though it was not something her best friend approved of. I also loved how she didn't take any crap from Caz. I liked how the author made you feel what they were feeling, and I loved that Sienna wasn't a weak female lead.

There were a few things that irritated me, like how quick she jumped into bed with Caz after ending things with her long term boyfriend. I felt like his character was sort of an afterthought. And I didn't like that she just spilled the beans about Caz's secret to Harper.

All in all I would totally read another book from this author and recommend this to anyone who enjoys romance books with a little twist.
